White House Chanukah Party
Several members of the National Council of Young Israel’s executive board were at the White House last week for the President’s annual Chanukah party. Representing the multi-faceted organization that has ably served the broader Jewish community for over 100 years was Chairman of the Board Bob Levi (L) and 1st Vice President Yosef Poplack (R). Prior to the Chanukah celebration, Bob and Yosef participated in a high-level White House briefing and discussed a number of important issues with the administration, including homeland security and immigration, terrorist attacks in Israel, the status of the Iran nuclear agreement, BDS, and Israel-Palestinian negotiations.

For the past 104 years, the National Council of Young Israel has ably served the broader Jewish community. With more than 25,000 member families and nearly 200 branch synagogues throughout the United States, Canada, and Israel, the National Council of Young Israel is a multi-faceted organization that embraces Jewish communal needs and often takes a leading role in tackling the important issues that face the Jewish community in North America and Israel.
